The STEREO Science Center serves the following functions:
This website serves the first three of the above functions, and is designed to
be used by scientists and the operations team. For more general information
about the STEREO mission, including education and public outreach, please also
- Archive for STEREO telemetry, mission support data, and higher level
instrument data and analysis software.
- Processing center for STEREO space weather beacon data.
- Focal point for science coordination.
- Focal point for education and public outreach activities.
Comet ISON News: STEREO is expected to have a spectacular view
of Comet ISON, starting in October 2013, with
closest approach to the Sun on November 28 (U.S. Thanksgiving). The STEREO
teams are busy making plans to observe the comet during this exciting time.
