The instrument teams will need to re-establish their telemetry links. Some path changes may be necessary in some scripts. More information is available in a separate message. DISCUSSION AND OPERATIONS CONSTRAINTS ------------------------------------- Week 33 (Aug 12-18) * On day 224 (Aug 12), during the DSS-34 support for Ahead, turbo decoder lock was lost intermittently beginning at 0425z through 0428z due to heavy rain. This anomaly resulted in the loss of 1890 frames of SSR data. See DR #C109494 for more information. * On day 224 (Aug 12), during the DSS-24 support for Ahead, turbo decoder lock was lost briefly at 1303z. This anomaly resulted in the loss of one frame of SSR data. See DR #G114141 for more information. * On day 225 (Aug 13), during the DSS-65 support for Ahead, turbo decoder lock was lost intermittently beginning at 0850z through 1436z. This anomaly resulted in the loss of 514 frames of SSR data. See DR #N109080 for more information. * On day 227 (Aug 15), during the DSS-55 support for Ahead, turbo decoder lock was lost briefly at 0621z. This anomaly resulted in the loss of three frames of SSR data. * On day 229 (Aug 17), during the DSS-65 support for Ahead, turbo decoder lock was lost briefly at 1021z. This anomaly resulted in the loss of one frame of SSR data. * On day 230 (Aug 18), during the DSS-54 support for Ahead, turbo decoder lock was lost briefly at 1216z. This anomaly resulted in the loss of three frames of SSR data. * On day 225 (Aug 13), during the DSS-24 support for Behind, turbo decoder lock was lost intermittently beginning at 1919z through 2155z. This anomaly resulted in the loss of 4351 frames of SSR data. See DR #G114148 for more information. * On day 225 (Aug 13), during the DSS-25 support for Behind, turbo decoder lock was lost briefly at 226-0123z. This anomaly resulted in the loss of one frame of SSR data. * On day 227 (Aug 15), during the DSS-63 support for Behind, turbo decoder lock was lost intermittently beginning at 1413z through 1621z due to bad weather. This anomaly resulted in the loss of 10842 frames of SSR data. See DR #M107472 for more information. * On day 230 (Aug 18), during the DSS-65 support for Behind, turbo decoder lock was lost intermittently beginning at 1322z through 1512z. This anomaly resulted in the loss of nine frames of SSR data. * On day 227 (Aug 15), SWAVES conducted real-time commanding at 1505z to perform a system reboot to activate flight software version 4.12. * The average daily SSR playback volume during the week was 3.3 gigabits for Ahead, and 4.3 gigabits for Behind. Week 34 (Aug 19-25) * Ahead has 9 passes during the week, and overall coverage is nominal. 70 meter passes are scheduled for Tuesday, Aug 20 (D14), and Thursday, Aug 22 (D43). The following passes will be carried out at 160 kbps, all using station 54: Monday, Aug 19, Saturday, Aug 24, and Sunday, Aug 25. * Behind has 10 passes during the week, and overall coverage is nominal. 70 meter passes are scheduled for Monday, Aug 19 (D43), Wednesday, Aug 21 (D63), and Thursday, Aug 22 (D14).
