STEREO Weekly Meeting Minutes for 2009-01-20 (Week 04) ANNOUNCEMENTS ------------- * None INSTRUMENT AND SPACECRAFT STATUS -------------------------------- * All subsystems on both spacecraft are nominal, except that the Ahead spacecraft is currently operating on IMU #2. DISCUSSION AND OPERATIONS CONSTRAINTS ------------------------------------- Week 03 * Telemetry lock intermittent starting at 07:34 UT on day 14 (Jan 14) during the Ahead pass on station 54. This resulted in the loss of some SECCHI SSR data. * No monitor data was received in the MOC for either Ahead or Behind on day 15 (Jan 15), because of a corrupted telemetry database in the MOC. * The station 15 transmitter was declared red for the Ahead pass on day 16 (Jan 16). Because of this problem, the SSR pointers were not reset, and 9 hours of SSR data was subsequently lost. * IMPACT began warming up SWEA for testing on both spacecraft from Jan 14-18. * The scheduled Behind track on station 34 on day 16 (Jan 16) was cancelled because of an anticipated Delta 4 launch. * The station 26 transmitter tripped offline during the Behind track on day 17 (Jan 17). * On day 18 (Jan 18), the station 26 transmitter was declared red. The pass was switched to station 14 and proceeded nominally. * The average daily downlink was 5.6 gigabits on Ahead, and 6.1 gigabits on Behind. Week 04 * The station 26 transmitter was red again for the Behind pass early Monday (Jan 19). An hour on station 15 was provided to get the necessary commands up. * The station 45 transmitter tripped offline for the Ahead pass today (Jan 20). * A momentum dump is scheduled for Behind tomorrow (Jan 21), with ignition at 19:00 UT. * The prime mission ends, and the extended mission starts, on Jan 22. * The two STEREO spacecraft will be at exactly 90 degrees separation on Jan 24. Week 05 * PLASTIC plans to slightly increase their MCP voltage on both spacecraft to maintain throughput. Week 06 * A momentum dump is scheduled for Ahead on February 4, with ignition at 14:00 UT.
