STEREO Weekly Meeting Minutes for 2008-01-22 (Week 4) ANNOUNCEMENTS ------------- * None. INSTRUMENT AND SPACECRAFT STATUS -------------------------------- * All subsystems on both spacecraft are nominal, except that the Ahead spececraft is currently operating on IMU #2. DISCUSSION AND OPERATIONS CONSTRAINTS ------------------------------------- Week 3 * The second SECCHI campaign completed on Sunday, January 20th. * On January 14 a number of Turbo bad frames were seen during the Ahead pass on station 55. Some SECCHI data were lost. * An internal APL network problem on January 17 caused a loss of communication from 4:21 to 9:10 UT. No data were lost, but outside connections would have been dropped during this period. * The average daily downlink was 10.3 gigabits on Ahead, and 8.9 gigabits on Behind. * Some Behind tracks were moved around to support the Ulysses and Dawn missions. Part of the track on the 18th was given to Ulysses. SECCHI took less data in response to these changes, but didn't suffer any data gaps. * SECCHI-Behind had a watchdog error on Monday, January 14, and was reset and observing again within about six hours. This was the fifth watchdog error on Behind. * IMPACT loaded a SEPT table to Behind on January 16. Week 4 * There will be a momentum dump on Behind on Wednesday, January 23, at 15:30 UT. Week 5 * No unusual operations planned. Week 6 * The 11th momentum dump on Ahead is scheduled for day 37 (Feb 6) at 13:45 UT. Week 7 * No unusual operations planned. Week 8 * A SECCHI stepped calibration roll will be carried out on Behind on day 50 (Feb 19). Other * The SECCHI team reported that the version 2 telemetry files have been showing up later than usual over the last week or so. The MOC responded that this is because of the larger than usual data volume during the SECCHI campaign, and because some data from December was being reprocessed.
