INSTRUMENT AND SPACECRAFT STATUS

* All subsystems on both spacecraft are nominal, except that the Ahead
  spececraft is currently operating on IMU #2.


DISCUSSION AND OPERATIONS CONSTRAINTS

Week 21

* Momentum dumps on both spacecraft on day 143.  Ahead was able to use high gain antenna
  throughout

* Ahead on day 143 had some bad telemetry frames resulting in some data loss,
  mostly to SECCHI from 00:35 to 00:40 and from 10:03 to 10:40

* Ahead on day 144 SECCHI partition 19 became full resulting in a gap from 14:09 to 17:03

* Average daily playback rates 6.8 Gb for Ahead and 7.2 Gb for Behind

* Behind day 143 had some ground system problems resulting in loss of data for all 
  instruments.  SECCHI 08:43-13:12; IMPACT 08:41-11:36; PLASTIC 08:42-10:38; 
  SWAVES 08:45-10:15.  Cause of problems still being investigated

Week 22

* No unsual activities.  Additional 6 DSN tracks for Behind.

* SECCHI will upload on Wednesday a software patch for their onboard event recognition.
  The patch will be uploaded ahead of time through regular commanding--they
  only need to activate it in realtime.

Other:

* June 21 marks 150 days in heliocentric orbit, the requirement to meet minimum
  success criteria.

* June 27/Ahead has a planned test of the G&C system using the start tracker rates
  as another redundancy for the problem with IMU #1

* DAWN launch scheduled for June 30.  No DSN is to STEREO is expected.
