STEREO Weekly Meeting Minutes for 2007-04-17 (Week 16) ANNOUNCEMENTS ------------- * Unattended track operations start April 30th. Concept of Operations document has been sent out, and is also available on Stereo Data Server under teams/moc. * Operations schedule on SDS under teams/moc has been updated to include HGA calibrations, etc. * MOPs considering changing description of opening instrument RT commanding, and asks if any instrument team has software which depends on the exact wording of this item? INSTRUMENT AND SPACECRAFT STATUS -------------------------------- * All subsystems on both spacecraft are nominal. The Ahead spececraft is currently operating on IMU #2. DISCUSSION AND OPERATIONS CONSTRAINTS ------------------------------------- Week 15 * Ahead suffered a 5 minute loss of realtime data around 15:04 UT on station 26 because of an IONET switch reset. * Daily average downlink rates were 6.8 gigabits for Ahead and 9.3 gigabits for Behind. * Successful momentum dump on Ahead on day 102. Imparted 0.0855 m/s delta-V. * Frequent realtime data drop-outs on Behind on day 101 on station 45. Problem traced to router at JPL and corrected. * Ephemeris update on Behind on day 100. * Quite a few reboots of ground system equipment during the week. 10 terabytes of storage was added to the MOC servers on Monday. The SDS was rebooted twice to add 300 GB RAID. * IMU autonomy rule triggered on Ahead spacecraft on day 101. IMU #1 built-in self test failed. Path length correction on X axis gyro kept failing. The spacecraft automatically switched over to IMU #2 as it was supposed to. The situation is being looked into. Week 16 * Ephemeris and time updates will be applied to Ahead spacecraft on day 108. * SECCHI GT off-points on both spacecraft on Thursday. * SECCHI stepped roll occured on Behind spacecraft this morning. All indications so far are that all went nominally. * Time update on Wednesday. Week 17 * Ephemeris update on Behind at day 119/120 roll-over. Week 18 * Start unattended track operations, Monday, day 120. * Start of 14 day SECCHI campaign on Friday, day 124. This involves extra 3 hour tracks about 12 hours after the regular track, bringing down SECCHI buffers and spacecraft housekeeping. Week 19 * Continue SECCHI campaign Week 20 * May 17th is last day of SECCHI campaign. Other * DSN schedules available up to week 21. DAWN launch at end of June may affect STEREO schedules.
