STEREO Weekly Meeting Minutes for 2007-04-10 (Week 15)


ANNOUNCEMENTS
-------------

* Unattended track operations start April 30th.  An operations readiness review
  for unattended tracks will be held on April 12th.

* There will be a telecon to discuss the spikes seen in SWAVES and MAG data
  immediately following next week's operations telecon, on the 17th.


INSTRUMENT AND SPACECRAFT STATUS
--------------------------------

* All subsystems on both spacecraft are nominal.


DISCUSSION AND OPERATIONS CONSTRAINTS
-------------------------------------

Week 14

* On day 95, the station 45 transmitter was down during the entire track.
  Because no commands were received during the track, the space on the SSR was
  not freed up, leading to loss of data.

* Average daily data downlink was 6 gigabits for Ahead, and 9.4 gigabits for
  Behind.

* HGA calibrations were successfully completed on both spacecraft on day 93.

* A C&DH software bug freed up space on the SECCHI Special Event (SSR2)
  partition at the end of the track, even though the partition was actually
  100% full.  This didn't affect SECCHI, since that data would have been
  overwritten anyway by the next track.

* Macro 0, for the transition from EA to Standby, was updated on both
  spacecraft on day 94.  This was to take into account the increased distance
  from Earth.

* A brief (~ 5 minutes) loss of realtime telemetry was seen on the Behind
  spacecraft on day 94.  The station did not see the drop out, so it must have
  occured between the station and the MOC.  All SSR data was successfully
  downloaded.

* A momentum dump was performed on Behind on day 95.

Week 15

* Momentum dump scheduled for Ahead on Thursday at 19:00 UT.

* Ephemeris load being performed on Behind today.

Week 16

* SECCHI stepped calibration roll on Behind on day 107 at 08:35 UT.

* SECCHI GT offpoints on day 109, Behind at 10:05, and Ahead at 15:20 UT.  The
  spacecraft will dwell 20 minutes at each position, with 5 minutes of settle
  time, and 15 minutes of observation time.

Week 17

* No special events.

Week 18

* Start of SECCHI campaign, May 4th.

* Start unattended track operations April 30th.

Week 19

* Continue SECCHI campaign.
