STEREO Weekly Meeting Minutes for 2006-10-10 (Week 41) ANNOUNCEMENTS ------------- * Weekly Schedule for 1st week available for Ahead. Behind will be available soon. The schedules will be almost identical, except that the Behind activities will be scheduled just after the corresponding Ahead activities. * Reminder: Daylight savings time ends October 29th. INSTRUMENT STATUS ----------------- N/A OPERATIONS CONSTRAINTS ---------------------- * SECCHI turn-on ~ 3 A.M. Eastern time * Mistake on WS -- not getting 28.5 kbps because playing back recorder. * Spacecraft will slew off nominal pointing during 1st engineering burn. * Most activities scheduled for daylight hours east coast. * Three opportunities for A1 burn. Primary is day before apogee (24 hours), with backups on day of apogee and day after apogee. * Second engineering burn on Mission Day #8. * After engineering burn, switch to nominal ~3 hour phasing tracks, 360 kbps. - Many tracks will use single DSN antenna, first Ahead and then Behind - Some tracks will overlap Ahead and Behind - Some currently scheduled tracks will be dropped after launch - Some tracks will use Goldstone, others Canberra. Need a north and south station every 3 days. * Currently planning for instruments to be turned off for A1 burn. - Depending on sun angle, may not need to turn off instruments - Instruments on/off will be published in Weekly Schedule - No email sent when WS is updated - A daily status meeting will be held, but the time is not yet set. * Power instruments back on track after A1 maneuver. * Can move activities up DFD schedule. Change in DFD rates requires sufficient notice to analyze change in Weekly Schedule. * Mission day 7 change to 360 kbps. Deploy IMPACT boom. * DFD during maneuvers includes instrument data * Enable GT on days 17 and 19. Discussion about how long extra 93 kbps RT telemetry is required, 10 minutes vs. 90 minutes. Nathan will check on success criteria. * Launch rehearsal Saturday. After that the archive will be cleared out preparatory for launch. * IMPACT MAG calibration roll, associated HGA slew, and SWAVES calibration roll successfully tested on HIL. * Hoping to run IMPACT calibration maneuvers post-P3. * Before doing 180 degree HGA slew for IMPACT, need to do a smaller slew (e.g. 30 degrees) to qualify slewing. Four HGA calibration activities are in the schedule.
