#The event list is compiled by Dr. Lan Jian (lan.jian@nasa.gov) for reference purpose. Not all the desired data are available, such as the particle composition data, for event identifiction.
#Not all the events are magnetic clouds (MCs) in which there are low-beta and well-organized flux ropes. Some of the ICME events are arguable. For event details and ambiguous event, please consult Dr. Lan Jian.
#If there is a shock at the edge, the time is usually set at the closest minute.
#
#If there is no clear magnetic obstacle (often due to a glance through of sheath region), the start time of magnetic obstacle is set as null.  
#
#STEREO field, 1 for A spacecraft, -1 for B spacecraft
#Hybrd event is a cobmined event of ICME-ICME interaction or ICME-SIR interaction. 1 indicates it is a hybrid event; 0 indicates it is not a hybrid event
#Ambiguous event is an event with not enough ICME characteristics. 1 for yes, 0 for no
#
#Speed change is the temporal variation of solar wind speed over magnetic obstacle (if exist) or ICME (if magnetic obstacle does not exist), negative
#value indicating the solar wind is expanding, 0 meaning the solar wind speed remains almost constant or does not change systematically over the event
#despite back-and-forth changes
#
#ICMEs are sorted into 3 groups depending on their temporal profiles of total pressure (Pt). Corresponding to the Group 1, 2, and 3 ICMEs, 
#the Pt profile, excluding any shock and/or sheath region (if present), respectively, displays a central pressure maximum, a steady plateau, and a 
#gradual decay, respectively. In the hypothesis that all ICMEs have a central flux rope, these three groups of Pt profiles are due to different approach
#distances to the central flux rope. Group 1 ICMEs are assued to be the ones penetrated by spacecraft near the flux rope axis, and they usually present
#signatures of magnetic clouds. See Jian et al. (Solar Physics 2006) for more detail. "4" marks ICMEs which cannot be sorted in the three groups. "-1" marks the data gap. 
#
#Magnetic could field, 0 for non-MC, 2 for well-defined MC, 1 for less well defined MC
