STEREO Weekly Meeting Minutes for 2013-10-29 (Week 44) ANNOUNCEMENTS ------------- * None. INSTRUMENT and SPACECRAFT STATUS -------------------------------- * All subsystems on both spacecraft are nominal. DISCUSSION AND OPERATIONS CONSTRAINTS ------------------------------------- Week 43 (Oct 21-27) * On day 298 (Oct 25), during the DSS-63 support for Ahead, turbo decoder lock was lost briefly at 1430z. This anomaly resulted in the loss of six frames of SSR data. * On day 296 (Oct 23), new G&C control bandwidth parameter values were loaded to G&C RAM on Ahead at 1359z to improve attitude errors for Reduced Gyro Operations. Spacecraft fine pointing was lost when the new parameter was loaded. Therefore, MOPS reloaded the previous control bandwidth parameter values to G&C RAM at 1509z and spacecraft fine pointing was acquired. * On day 298 (Oct 25), the SSR science partitions on Ahead filled as follows: SECCHI (Part 19) reached 100% full at 0920z for 1.3 hours. * On day 295 (Oct 22), during the DSS-24 support for Behind, the receiver and ranging processor unexpectedly went out of lock beginning at 2014z through 2025z. The SSR pointers for were repositioned prior to the outage and all data were recovered. See DR #G114349 for more information. * On days 297, 298, and 299 (Oct 24, 25, 26) the first three SECCHI 180 degree Comet ISON rolls were executed successfully at 0600z. The SECCHI team reports that Comet ISON is visible in the data, but very faint. * The average daily SSR playback volume during the week was 4.5 gigabits for Ahead, and 4.3 gigabits for Behind.
