STEREO Weekly Meeting Minutes for 2013-07-16 (Week 29) ANNOUNCEMENTS ------------- * Work will be done on the DMZ computers between 16-19 UT on Monday, Jul 29. This will require several reboots, and instrument teams can expect to need to reconnect. INSTRUMENT and SPACECRAFT STATUS -------------------------------- * All subsystems on both spacecraft are nominal. DISCUSSION AND OPERATIONS CONSTRAINTS ------------------------------------- Week 28 (Jul 8-14) * On day 190 (Jul 9), during the DSS-15 support for Ahead, turbo decoder lock was lost briefly at 2157z. This anomaly resulted in the loss of one frame of SSR data. * On day 193 (Jul 12), during the DSS-65 support for Ahead, turbo decoder lock was lost intermittently beginning at 0445z through 0636z. This anomaly resulted in the loss of 72 frames of SSR data. * On day 194 (Jul 13), during the DSS-15 support for Ahead, turbo decoder lock was lost briefly at 1555z. This anomaly resulted in the loss of one frame of SSR data. * On day 195 (Jul 14), during the DSS-34 support for Ahead, turbo decoder lock was lost briefly at 196-0011z and again at 196-0107z. This anomaly resulted in the loss of two frames of SSR data. * On day 189 (Jul 8), IMPACT conducted real-time commanding on Ahead at 1335z for HET to set thresholds and disable stimulus event generation. * On day 189 (Jul 8), the MOPS permanent autonomy release 1.1.16 was loaded to C&DH RAM on both spacecraft to modify rule 239, which moves SSR write limit pointers during SSR science playbacks to free recorder space. This modification removed the unnecessary check of "write limit not equal to read pointer", which was preventing SECCHI partition pointer moves during longer 720Kbps tracks. * On day 190 (Jul 9), the 18th HGA Calibration on Ahead was successfully executed at 1700Z. * On day 189 (Jul 8), during the DSS-63 support for Behind, the receiver and ranging processor unexpectedly went out of lock between 1625z-1626z. Also during this track, turbo decoder lock was lost intermittently beginning at 1512z through 1829z. These anomalies resulted in the loss of 1479 frames of SSR data. See DR #M107420 for more information. * On day 190 (Jul 9), during the DSS-63 support for Behind, the receiver and ranging processor unexpectedly went out of lock between 1049z-1050z. Also during this track, turbo decoder lock was lost intermittently beginning at 1027z through 1328z. These anomalies resulted in the loss of 4146 frames of SSR data. See DR #M107422 for more information. * On day 193 (Jul 12), during the DSS-65 support for Behind, turbo decoder lock was lost intermittently beginning at 1316z through 1922z. This anomaly resulted in the loss of 34 frames of SSR data. * On day 195 (Jul 14), during the DSS-24 support for Behind, turbo decoder lock was lost briefly at 1745z. This anomaly resulted in the loss of one frame of SSR data * On day 191 (Jul 10), the 18th HGA Calibration on Behind was successfully executed at 1600Z. * On day 192 (Jul 11), the 53rd momentum dump on Behind was executed successfully at 1700Z, which imparted a delta V of 0.077 m/sec. * The average daily SSR playback volume during the week was 3.8 gigabits on Ahead, and 4.0 gigabits on Behind.
