STEREO Weekly Meeting Minutes for 2012-06-19 (Week 25) ANNOUNCEMENTS ------------- * No meeting minutes were taken for the telecon on Jun 12, due to the AAS/SPD meeting in Anchorage, Alaska. INSTRUMENT and SPACECRAFT STATUS -------------------------------- * All subsystems on both spacecraft are nominal. DISCUSSION AND OPERATIONS CONSTRAINTS ------------------------------------- Week 23 (Jun 4-10) * On day 156 (Jun 4), during the DSS-25 support for Ahead, at 2040z the command bind was lost in the MOC. At 2048z the MOC rebound and radiated one command successfully. Again at 2055z through 2112z the commanding state was intermittent. Since commanding was complete for the track, no attempt to rebind was executed. This anomaly resulted in the loss of 32 minutes of commanding. All SSR data were received. See DR# N108148 for more information. * On day 158 (Jun 6), during the DSS-55 support for Ahead, turbo decoder lock was lost intermittently at 0435z, 0616z, and 0647z. This anomaly resulted in the loss of five frames of SSR data. See DR# N108156 for more information. * On day 158 (Jun 6), during the DSS-25 support for Ahead, the antenna stopped tracking from 1556z-1614z due to an antenna monitor and control problem. The SSR pointers were repositioned and all data were received. See DR# G112835 for more information. * On day 160 (Jun 8), the SECCHI Ahead instrument reset at 10:23:59z. The SECCHI team reconfigured the instrument to operational mode at 160-1655z. This was the 28th reset of SECCHI on the Ahead spacecraft. * On day 156 (Jun 4), during the DSS-14 support for Behind, turbo decoder lock was lost intermittently at 2054z and again at 2122z. This anomaly resulted in the loss of several minutes of SSR data for each instrument. See DR# N108152 for more information. * On day 160 (Jun 8), during the DSS-14 support for Behind, telemetry was not received in the MOC from 1932z - 1949z due to a DSN network problem. The SSR pointers were repositioned and all data were received. See DR# N108165 for more information. * The average daily SSR playback volume during the week was 5.2 gigabits for Ahead, and 5.5 gigabits for Behind. Week 24 (Jun 11-17) * On day 165 (Jun 13), during the DSS-14 support for Behind, the antenna stopped tracking from 2051z-2057z due to brakes being applied for an 'ESTOP activated: ME servo interface' alarm. Telemetry was lost again from 2118z-2136z due to a low SSNR during the 2-way mode receiver acquisition. The SSR pointers were repositioned and all data were received. See DR# G112858 for more information. * On day 168 (Jun 16), during the DSS-65 support for Behind, turbo decoder lock was lost intermittently at 0916z, 1033z, and again at 1125z. This anomaly resulted in the loss of four frames of SSR data. See DR# N108176 for more information. * On day 164 (Jun 12), the 42nd momentum dump on Behind was successfully executed at 1500Z, which imparted a delta V of 0.059 m/sec. * The average daily SSR playback volume during the week was 5.1 gigabits for Ahead, and 5.3 gigabits for Behind. Week 25 (Jun 18-24) * The planned station 26 pass for Ahead was lost this morning (Jun 19) due to a cable wrap alarm. The MOC plans to move back the SSR pointers later in the day. * Ahead has 70 meter passes Monday, Jun 18 (D14), Wednesday, Jun 20 (D14), Thursday, Jun 21 (D14), Friday, Jun 22 (D63 and D43), Saturday, Jun 23 (D14) and Sunday, Jun 24 (S63). Week 26 (Jun 25-Jul 1) * Ahead's 22nd SECCHI step calibration roll is scheduled for Tuesday, Jun 26, starting 02:20 UT. This is the midpoint roll. System momentum is projected to be about 4 N-m-s. * A leap second will be added on both spacecraft on Sunday, Jun 30 at 23:59:59 UT to keep them coordinated with UTC. Instruments will see this in their DPU. The difference between TAI and UTC will go from 34 to 35 seconds. * A test track with Behind is scheduled for station 25 on Tuesday, Jun 26, shadowing the station 24 track. * There will be a return-to-service track for station 25 on Behind on Sunday, Jul 1, for 3 hours starting at 16:55 UT.
