STEREO Weekly Meeting Minutes for 2012-04-10 (Week 15) ANNOUNCEMENTS ------------- * None. INSTRUMENT and SPACECRAFT STATUS -------------------------------- * All subsystems on both spacecraft are nominal. DISCUSSION AND OPERATIONS CONSTRAINTS ------------------------------------- Week 14 (Apr 2-8) * On day 093 (Apr 2), during the DSS-24 support for Ahead, turbo decoder lock was lost briefly at 1658z. This anomaly resulted in the loss of one frame of SSR data. See DR# N108015 for more information. * On day 096 (Apr 5), during the DSS-55 support for Ahead, turbo decoder lock was lost briefly at 0642z. This anomaly resulted in the loss of one frame of SSR data. See DR# N108017 for more information. * On day 097 (Apr 6), during the DSS-14 support for Ahead, turbo decoder lock was lost for six minutes beginning at 1927z. This anomaly resulted in the loss of 14 minutes of SSR data for each instrument. A DR has been requested. This was not the standard software anomaly as on Apr 2 and 5, but was apparently caused by the sweep starting late. * On day 098 (Apr 7), during the DSS-55 support for Ahead, AOS was delayed 4.9 hours due to the loss of the communications link between the Madrid control complex and the station. After communications were restored, telemetry lock was established at 0932z. This anomaly resulted in the loss 4.9 hours of commanding and tracking data and eight to ten hours SSR data for each instrument. Attitude history data were also lost. See DR# M106692 for more information. * On day 094 (Apr 3), the 21st SECCHI stepped calibration on Ahead, for perihelion in the orbit, was executed. The actual date of perihelion was Friday, Apr 6. * On day 097 (Apr 6), during the DSS-63 support for Behind, AOS was delayed 7 minutes due to a mis-configuration at the station. After the correct configuration was set, telemetry lock was established at 1052z. SSR pointers were repositioned to minimize data loss. All SSR data were recovered. * On day 098 (Apr 7), during the DSS-54 support for Behind, turbo decoder lock was lost briefly at 1745z. This anomaly resulted in the loss of one frame of SSR data. A DR has been requested. * The average daily SSR playback volume during the week was 4.8 gigabits for Ahead, and 5.2 gigabits for Behind.
