STEREO Weekly Meeting Minutes for 2009-06-09 (Week 24) ANNOUNCEMENTS ------------- * None. INSTRUMENT and SPACECRAFT STATUS -------------------------------- * All subsystems on both spacecraft are nominal. DISCUSSION AND OPERATIONS CONSTRAINTS ------------------------------------- Week 23 * On day 153 (Jun 2), a new image processor module was successfully activated on SECCHI Ahead. This will allow a change in the way HI spaceweather images are processed. * The 16th momentum dump was carried out on Behind on day 155 (Jun 4), imparting a delta-V of 0.0541 m/s. * The average daily SSR downlink was 5.8 gigabits on Ahead, and 6.4 gigabits on Behind. Week 24 * The 9th SECCHI stepped calibration on Ahead was carried out on Ahead early this morning (Jun 9). Week 25 * The fifth HI 180 degree rolls are scheduled for Wednesday, June 17, at 01:50 for Ahead, and 15:50 for Behind. * The LRO/LCROSS launch window opens on Wednesday, Jun 17. This has been impacting the STEREO DSN schedule. * There is a short 2.2 hour pass for Ahead on Thursday, Jun 18 to minimize the gap that would otherwise occur. * The 10th SECCHI stepped calibration roll on Behind is scheduled for Tuesday, Jun 16, at 11:30. This is the midpoint roll. * The Behind pass on Friday, Jun 19 (late Thursday local time) is 3.4 hours instead of the usual 5 hours. Week 26 * There is currently no Behind track scheduled for Jun 22, leading to a 48 hour gap between days 172-174 (Jun 21-23). APL is still working with the scheduler to try to resolve this. * The 22nd momentum dump on Ahead is scheduled for Thursday, Jun 25, starting at 20:00. Other * No date has been set yet for the reset on Ahead. This is expected to occur sometime in August, possibly in the first week. * The 5-day Sunrise balloon mission was launched at 06:27 UT on Monday, Jun 8. See the websites below for more information.
