STEREO Weekly Meeting Minutes for 2008-09-09 (Week 37) ANNOUNCEMENTS ------------- * None. INSTRUMENT AND SPACECRAFT STATUS -------------------------------- * All subsystems on both spacecraft are nominal, except that the Ahead spececraft is currently operating on IMU #2. DISCUSSION AND OPERATIONS CONSTRAINTS ------------------------------------- Week 36 * On day 248 (Sep 4), during the Ahead pass on station 25, JPL requested permission to perform IONET maintenance, which was granted. This resulted in a loss of 21 minutes of real-time telemetry telemetry. No playback data was lost. An interruption in the RT data was expected, but 21 minutes was longer than anticipated. * MOps macros were uploaded to both Ahead and Behind on day 247 (Sep 3). This change is to optimize bandwidth use in the event of a station transmitter failure. * Telemetry lock was lost intermittently during the station 45 pass on Behind on day 246 (Sep 2). * On day 247 (Sep 3), the planned station 15 support for the Project Interface Test (PIT) did not occur because the station azimuth brakes did not release. No data was lost. The PIT test has been rescheduled for Ahead on Friday, Sep 12 on station 26. There will be another pass just two hours after the pass for the PIT test. Week 37 * A PIT test is scheduled for Friday, Sep 12 as described above. * About 1500 frames were lost during the Behind pass on station 26 last night (Sep 8). DSN requests that after-the-fact DRs be opened for both cases of intermittent telemetry loss. Week 38 * The 16th momentum dump on Ahead is planned for day 260 (Sep 16) at 13:00 UT. * Behind will switch to 480 kbps on Sep 15. Week 39 * A momentum dump on Behind is planned for day 267 (Sep 23) at 17:00 UT. Week 40 * The SECCHI stepped calibration roll on Ahead is tentatively scheduled for day 274 (Sep 30).
