ANNOUNCEMENTS
-------------

* The Dec. 25 operations telecon has been canceled.

* The Jan. 1 telecon is rescheduled to Jan. 2, at the ordinary time.


INSTRUMENT AND SPACECRAFT STATUS
--------------------------------

* All subsystems on both spacecraft are nominal, except that the Ahead
  spececraft is currently operating on IMU #2.


DISCUSSION AND OPERATIONS CONSTRAINTS
-------------------------------------

Week 50

* The average daily downlink was 7.4 gigabits on Ahead and 7.0 gigabits on
  Behind.

* The latest G&C parameters were loaded into EEPROM on day 347 (Dec 13) on
  Ahead, and day 348 (Dec 14) on Behind.

* On day 347 (Dec 13), station 55 at Madrid was unable to lock on to Behind,
  and the pass was switched temporarily to station 63.  About an hour and 15
  minutes after the start of the pass station 55 was able to lock on, and took
  over the pass.  This resulted in a loss of 3 hours and 10 minutes of SECCHI
  data.

Week 51

* There will be a momentum dump on Ahead on day 354 (Dec 20) at 14:00 UT.  This
  will be the 10th momentum dump on Ahead.

Week 52

* Nothing unusual planned.

Week 1, 2008

* There will be a SECCHI stepped calibration roll on Ahead on January 3,
  starting at 07:10 UT.  The SECCHI team needs a detailed timeline for the
  roll--APL will send this to them.  There are 5 minutes to perform each roll
  and settle, plus a 15 minute dwell at each position.  The script is being
  modified to disable GT use during spacecraft slews, and then reenable GT use
  during the dwell periods.

* Orbital aphelion on Ahead will occur on January 6.

Week 2

* The second SECCHI campaign starts on January 7.  There will be two tracks per
  day, approximately 12 hours apart.  The second track will be bring down only
  SECCHI data.  A second track for Behind has been added for day 7, the
  schedule for Ahead is still being worked on.
