STEREO Weekly Meeting Minutes for 2006-08-15 (Week 33) ANNOUNCEMENTS ------------- * Launch now scheduled for Aug 31. * STEREO Weekly Planning meeting/telecon occurs every Tuesday effective 8/15/2006 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM Eastern Time (US & Canada). Where: STEREO MOC Conference Room, Mod6. * Weekly schedule available up through day 5 for Ahead spacecraft. Schedule for B spacecraft will be produced based on A's schedule, with offset to keep A & B activities from overlapping. INSTRUMENT STATUS ----------------- N/A OPERATIONS CONSTRAINTS ---------------------- * Reminder: No instrument data will be downloaded from the SSR during 1st week. * The baseline plan is still to turn instruments off for maneuvers. Instruments will be powered off during the track before a maneuver and powered on again during the succeeding track after the maneuver. If the backup maneuver is needed, instruments will remain off. There may be a possibility of keeping some instruments powered on during a maneuver. * SECCHI may have a constraint about powering up at 1.8 kbps, and may decide to stay off until they can power up at 3.6 kbps. * Most activities scheduled for East coast daylight hours (Goldstone). * Engineering burns 1-2 minutes during. Second engineering burn involves +X thrusters--SECCHI may wish to leave doors closed. * Discussion of operational requests from instrument teams, reproduced below. When scripts are fully tested on simulator, they will be placed on schedule. Item Status * SECCHI GT/G&C commissioning Under discussion * SECCHI EUVI off-point Submitted * SECCHI HI cross calibration roll maneuver Submitted * SECCHI HI stray-light off-point Submitted * SECCHI HI flat-field roll maneuver Submitted * SECCHI Mercury transit Scheduling constraint * SECCHI Survival Power Usage Implemented * SECCHI SSR2 playback problem Patch going up day 4 * SECCHI campaign DSN pass duration Implemented * IMPACT/MAG calibration roll changes Tests in progress * Beacon convolutional 1/6 encoding Implemented * SWAVES calibration roll Accepted * SECCHI COR calibration roll Tested on simulator * SECCHI campaign dates Implemented * IMPACT 45 degrees off-point REJECTED * GT/G&C commissioning is still under discussion. Although activities appear in the plan regarding the GT, these entries are placeholders. * IMPACT/MAG calibration roll will be scheduled during a track. * IMPACT needs SECCHI to exercise its mechanisms after HGA slew associated with MAG calibration roll.
